Moore Hall, the newest addition to the residence halls at Lake Forest College, opened in the fall of 2013 to sophomores, juniors, and seniors and serves nearly four times the number of students as the previous hall of the same name. Moore Hall features suite style rooms, private bathrooms, and a community kitchen.

Having been converted from an existing parking structure into a state-of-the-art facility, the museum features exhibits, the Radio Hall of Fame, a multimedia café, administration offices, and multipurpose screening space. The scope of this project included the renovation of a warehouse into a 70,000 sf, LEED Gold plant for a laboratory equipment manufacturer. A two-story curtain wall on the building’s facade creates a dramatic lobby and dynamic office space and includes high efficiency mechanical systems along with skylights, a technologically sophisticated daylight dimming system, and floor-to-ceiling windows in the manufacturing areas.

With a focus on strengthening worldwide business relationships by merging their engineering arm with their corporate culture, Tetra Pak ordered an office to compliment their team oriented work styles with large open “workrooms”, low desking solutions, and a variety of meeting spaces for their new headquarters. An emphasis on sustainability led to the material choice of the building that exists today.
